About Me
At Iron K9 Training, my mission is simple: to help dogs and their owners build stronger, more trusting relationships through clear communication and proven training methods.
With over 4 years of experience, I’ve worked with 500+ dogs, ranging from family pets and puppies to high-drive working and protection dogs. Every dog is different, which is why I create customized training programs tailored to the unique needs of both the dog and the owner.
What drives me most is seeing real, lasting transformations. Whether it’s helping a reactive dog become calm and confident or developing reliable obedience in a protection dog, I’m committed to delivering results that improve everyday life for both dogs and their families.
My commitment doesn’t end when the training does. Every client receives lifetime support, so you’ll always have guidance whenever you need it. I believe training is a lifelong journey, and I’m dedicated to being there every step of the way.
Dogs have shaped not only my career but also who I am as a trainer. I currently own three incredible dogs, each of whom has played a significant role in my development and continues to teach me something new every day.
Finn, my Siberian Husky, was my very first dog and the reason I discovered my passion for dog training. Like many owners, I wanted to give him the freedom to enjoy life safely off leash, so I reached out to K9 Academy for training. That experience completely changed my perspective and inspired me to pursue dog training professionally. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to help other owners experience the same freedom and confidence with their own dogs.
Phoebe, my Belgian Malinois, became my first true behavioral challenge. Working with her taught me how to understand sensitive, nervous, and environmentally unsure dogs. She showed me the importance of patience, clear communication, and confidence-building. Through our journey together, I learned how to help fearful dogs overcome obstacles and become confident companions—skills that I now bring to every behavioral case I work with.
My newest addition, Jake, is my Belgian Malinois and my first sport dog. Together we’re training and competing in IGP, a sport that has challenged me to continually improve as a trainer. Jake has taught me the value of building a relationship based on trust, engagement, and motivation. Working with him has deepened my understanding of advanced obedience, drive development, and how to create a dog that truly loves working with its handler.
Every dog I’ve owned has been a teacher in their own way. Their lessons, combined with the experience I’ve gained working with hundreds of dogs, have shaped my training philosophy: every dog deserves the opportunity to succeed, and every owner deserves the knowledge and support to help them get there.
At Iron K9 Training, you’re not just investing in dog training—you’re investing in a lasting partnership built on trust, confidence, and clear communication.
